The story
RBM Concrete & Excavation is a locally owned concrete and excavation contractor based in Bairnsdale, Victoria. The business was founded by Ronnie in 2020 and has been built steadily since around a simple idea: concrete work should be predictable, tidy and honest.
Today the business runs on a local East Gippsland crew, with quality controlled from the first site visit through to the final cure. Most new jobs come through referrals from neighbours, builders and past clients.
The way we work
Every job begins with a site visit. Gradient, soil type, drainage and truck access all move the real number, so we’d rather spend an extra 20 minutes onsite than surprise you halfway through the pour.
We bring our own excavation plant and our own concrete gear, which means one crew handles dig, prep and pour. No subbed-out excavation that leaves you chasing two contractors when a level is out.

- Commercial and industrial slabs and civic projects, including work on the Bairnsdale Police Station
- New-build house slabs across Bairnsdale, Lindenow and the surrounding towns
- Rural shed slabs, workshop floors and farm infrastructure
- Residential driveways, paths and crossovers
- Excavation, site cut, drainage and footings
Why the little things matter
When an RBM crew turns up ready, runs a clean site, parks the truck properly and cleans up behind themselves, it tells you something about how the slab underneath is going to be done. Detail carries through.
